This record is my fourth album of original songs that I have recorded in New Orleans. I teamed up with Grammy winning producer John Chelew to give these songs an emotional depth that I was unable to achieve in my earlier titles. The players that John assembled for the project all have one thing in common, world class musicianship. Johnny Vidacovich is a living jazz drumming legend, Helen Gillet a rising star with her unique tone on the cello, Dave Easley a freak of nature who's pedal steel playing sounds like a choir of angels, the Zion harmonizers literally a choir of angels, and below it all Pat Casey lays down an impeccable upright bass foundation for all of this to float upon.

The songs I have penned for this project are an emotional and historical guidebook into the things that have shaped my life and occupied my psyche to this point. YOU DON'T KNOW ME is essentially a self portrait of me. By listening to it I am hoping that you will get to know me and yourself better.
