Adrian Sutcliffe writes emotional and expressive descriptive music in his own unique style. His improvisations have been highly acclaimed and his pieces have been featured on BBC Television and Classic FM Radio as well as at theatres and major venues throughout the UK and further afield. After studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London he has become a highly successful performer and composer, with appearances at nearly all the major UK venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the South Bank and the Birmingham Hippodrome. He has played in West End shows and in many performances with the Royal Ballet Company at the Royal Opera House in London. As a music examiner for ABRSM he has worked in India, China, the USA, the Middle East, Aftica, Thailand, Malaysia and throughout Europe.

The highly evocative piano piece 'Soldier of a Forgotten War' was inspired by his time spent in the peaceful setting of a cemetery in New York in the Springtime.
