Soul sophistication has been Kaye Bohler’s life time pursuit as a recording artist. She was reared with the emergence of the sweet soul singers of the 1960’s and saturated by the church music of her youth. Her 25 year study of “The Blues” genre and spiritual approach to song writing has defined her as an artist where she can best be described as, Blue Eyed Soul from a green eyed Diva. Bohler’s alto voice is blessed with an expansive warm tone that resonates down to your backbone. Encouraged in high school to pursue her talent, Kaye's college voice teacher also confirmed that she has the chops to sing Opera or any number of genres. The confidence she gained prompted her to tackle the competitive L.A. music scene where she developed her own sound in the music world. Finding her way to America’s great gateway music, “The Blues,” brought an unparalleled authenticity to Kaye's vocal approach. But it was Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye and Al Green that humbled Kaye Bohler into submission as a soul loving singer.

In her tenure as a 30-year, non-stop performer, Kaye Bohler has also found an occasional home in the jazz market and world beat genres. The combination of influences in Roots music has created a distinct song writing style. Five albums later, she confidently releases her most controversial recording to date, “Woman in the White house.” The song celebrates the attributes of women and the struggle for equal opportunity and equal representation. Kaye wrote this for all the hopes and dreams of little girls everywhere (and to give the big girls courage to unite). This Song was produced by the Grammy affiliated Larry Batiste and hosts the finest studio Musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Her powerful presence on stage, is punctuated by her fluid, rhythmic dance moves,tall figure and beautiful voice.
