Laura Hickli, (Calgary, Alberta) is a classically trained pianist, expressive R&B tinted vocalist, and mental health advocate who's music deeply explores human emotions inspiring listeners to accept and feel their own. Her music video, "Midnight" won multiple Albertan film awards and her singles including, "Play Your Magic" have gained radio-play across Canada. She has written over two hundred songs since the age of thirteen similar in content to personal diary entries, and continues to perform the ones that are still relevant to her life. Hickli's powerful, sympathetic music is a reincarnation of the original environment and emotional inspiration she felt during each song's writing process. Fusing haunting vocals and a sensitive heart with meditative songwriting, Hickli portals herself and her audience to the places, people, and images that inspired her initial compositions, thus recreating an honest and heartfelt experience every time.
