Unlike many newer bands who just copy a band's image and message, The Hand of Glory have their own story to share. With two of the band's members being sent off to fight in a controversial war, they have seen the horrible extremes to which humanity end up. The band is an interesting mix of American and Germans, which also adds to the bands great mixture of all genres of Metal. To label the band just as Metalcore or Death Metal, would just be blasphemy! And by supporting great acts such as Slayer, Trivium, Amon Amarth, Sepultura, and many others; The Hand of Glory has obviously earned their spot in today's new metal. The debut album, Break The Illusion is will be released at the end of October; after which, THOG will be playing every where they can in support of the album.
