This is my first finished album. I named it To Be Continued... because there's more to do for each of these tunes, but I'm happy enough with the effort to share them now. Starting with a good old, foot stomping Choo Choo Mama, written for my wonderful wife, Leslie, and moving through a variety of styles and ideas, this album provides a nice range of all those thoughts that keep bouncing round in me head!

I really love playing acoustic guitar and I'm always challenged to take on songs and melodies that are "too hard" for just one guitar and voice. Leslie's Lullaby and Midnight are good examples of this style. Don't Treat Me Cruel is my tribute to Carlos Jobeam. I was requested to write a country song, but the closest I could get was Loved By You. I Talked to January is the story of a cowboy who leaves on his horse on Tuesday and ends up spending his last minutes in a snow storm. Sounds morose, but it's actually just a nice sleepy tune. Hanging on by a Reed is my Bob Dylan social commentary tune about too many people with too little. Sunset Music moves much closer to my Pink (as in Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant) side. Just a pretty tune that reminds me of sitting on the porch and watching the Sun say good night. Finally, Maggie's Lullaby was inspired by my friend, Luca, who needed a lullaby for her new grandbaby.
