Island bluesman Damien Paul can be found most weekends playing the music he loves on the Island’s pub and club circuit.

Damien has also made regular appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival Kashmir Cafe and Garden stages

Either as a solo artist, working as a duo or fronting his band ‘the Whiskey River ’, Damien always puts on a polished and professional performance, but with a raw edge. Influenced by artists as diverse as Muddy Waters, Tom Waits and John Martyn, his sound lies somewhere between Delta-Blues and English Folk.

He went to Skinny Mammoth Recording Studios to record the follow up to the successful Movin' Along album (also recorded by Skinny Mammoth) which has received industry attention and radio play both here and in the United States.
