Formed in 2008, Silver Machine spent the first three years performing around the southeast at festivals and clubs, developing their unique sound, and releasing their first studio album. Their self-titled debut was released in 2010, and their first live album was recorded at the Autumnal Equinox of that year – during an epic four hour set! In June 2011, Silver Machine decided to launch into outer space on their own bachelor-pad space craft, equipped with a state-of-the-art recording studio. After performing a triumphant “farewell” set at The Orange Peel in their hometown of Asheville NC, they blasted off into the ether to produce their follow-up album. The band has been recording the soundtracks to their journeys ever since, and has finally transmitted “Symmetry” back to Earth.
