This is a collection of songs written by Chad Shank. Chad is a songwriter, producer and singer in Minneapolis, MN. Chad's style mixes elements of pop, funk, jazz, dance, and R&B. Chad grew up on the sounds of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Janet Jackson, Prince and other new jack swing artists. All of these songs were written and recorded in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Almost all of the songs were written just by Chad by himself, but a few songs featured cowrites with other writers. "New Me" is a cowrite between Chad and Luke Turner. This is the first song together by these writers. Luke is based in Alabama. They met on Instagram. "Time For Changing'" and "Party In The City" were written by Chad and his partner, Josh Elder. This pair has been working on more and more material together. They also wrote, "Lost In The Night" on Chad's North Loop Sessions, Volume 2.
