Luna Mir is a young singer and songwriter from Puerto Rico who seeks to make her mark in the music scene. A lunar eclipse on her birthday not only gave her a name, but also appears to have inspired the creativity and inspiration of this songwriter. She graduated from the "Escuela Libre de Musica" of San Juan where she learn to play harpsichord, piano and guitar. Her lyrics highlight for their diversity, sincerity, descriptiveness and mastery of the language. Her melodies are complex but easy to remember. Her harmonies and rhythm show influences from rock, blues as well as latin folk music. Her first EP titled "Espectador" collects songs written during her adolescence. Luna Mir seeks to share and express those feelings and insecuritries felt at the beginning of her musical career. The compositions revolve around loneliness, identity, observing social behaviour, introspection and personal growth.
