Vincent Bates is a gospel and smooth jazz recording artist who has just released his new gospel single, "No Better Way". This recording is too hot to wait for the second album release, the first being "I Don't Mind" (Jesus Has Called My Name). This song has a medium fast tempo, with a funk-like/R&B feel. His vocals are full of passion with the aim to get the gospel message out to anyone who hears it. Written and produced by Vincent, this production has it all; from horn arrangements, keyboards, strings, guitars, etc., with an all male vocal background including Andre Durden, Danny D.J. Johnson and Roy Shipp. From the first note, Vincent expresses with urgency that there is "No Better Way" to get to heaven and he MUST tell somebody! Del Atkins is playing bass and lead guitar serving up authentic funk, while Harold Green is dousing the mix with a few sassy piano licks of his own. The drummer, Darrell Harris is laying it in the pocket along with Philip Adair spicing things up on the Clavinet.
