简介
ROSE AND LOTUS Rose and Lotus is a collection of sacred songs, both original English language and traditional Sanskrit chants in a magical interpretation through Eostar’s captivating melodies and Glenn Falkenberg’s Celtic/World musical accompaniment. Ben House’s penny whistle brings the Celtic druid lore alive in the mix, while Daniel Paul’s tablas add the Indian flavor to this collection of dreamy devotional world music compositions. The CD was recorded in Veneta, OR at Glenn Falkenberg’s Om Studios in 2008-2010. Throughout this time Eostar and Fearless Love were actively performing in the Eugene – Portland area as well as toured along the West Coast. Since Eostar’s move to California, this Eugene-based band has been less active. Eostar is now playing with her musical band “Web of One” in the Bay Area, and Glenn Falkenberg is playing mostly with Deva Priyo’s Gypsy Moon. We welcome you, White Buffalo Woman, into our hearts once more to descend. We welcome you to teach us once again how to live in the way of the Great Spirit! White Buffalo Woman! You who came from the South to purify our world, liberate us from the shadows! Liberate us from temptations that devour our spirit! He-yanna, Ho-yanna, He-yanna... White Buffalo Woman! You, who join the split feather together as one, we await you to come and accompany us on our way home. The time for your return has arrived! The white buffalo calf has been born. The Sun has turned red and the Earth is in chaos. Come, retrieve the Sacred Pipe from the womb of the Earth! He-yanna, Ho-yanna, He-yanna…. White Buffalo Woman! Teach us, once again, the love of the Creator! Lead us across the Mountains of Peace where there are no shadows! To the beat of the sacred drum we are aligning our will with the will of the Great Spirit. In our minds and hearts we remember the purity of the white buffalo.
