简介

“The Next Hit” album contains an array of the hottest pop music with strong hip-hop influences and an incredible beat. Each track is the product of two of today’s top producers, Gorilla Tek and Trak 53. Lyrics are by Po’It, Nas-Tee and LaKeith, widely recognized as the next waive of talent destined to climb the billboard charts. The performances are from the feature film “The Next Hit” to be released in the fall of 2008 starring Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle of Saved By The Bell), Fedro Starr (Member of Onyx and appearing in The Last Dance), Flo’Rida (Author of the smash hits “Low” and “Elevator”), Rick Ross (Author of the current No. 1 hip-hop album “Trilla”) and Noreaga (Author of the classic hip-hop album N.O.R.E.). The music of the The Next Hit starts with the track “South Beach”. The delivery of the lyrics reveals classic rap phrasing that creates a pure sound not found in today’s urban works. The music is engineered and produced to today’s cutting edge pop standards. South Beach is performed by Gorilla Tek and was chosen as the opening score of the movie “The Next Hit.” The second song “Intimidation” is performed by Po’It. Often compared to legendary artists as a result of his incredible but, eerily familiar voice. Intimidation carries the listener on a ride that is a combination of comfortable, sexy, moving and pleasant. The album turns for the hood with “Listen to the Big Dog”. Performed by the versatile rapper Nas-Tee who delivers the lyrics with such force and affect they compel the listener to heed the artist’s warning, “Lights look bright but, you can find a better way.” The production draws the listener into the setting and makes this track a “must listen”. The Next Hit returns to a pure clean sound with the track “All I Want” by Po’It which is reminiscent of the vibe found in classic songs of the late 60's and 70's but, with a delivery that is all today and tomorrow. The album goes “West Coast” with the speakers rattling as you roll down the highway in “Watch Your Back” by LaKeith. To paraphrase the classic potato chip commercial, this song is impossible to listen to just once. You will find yourself hitting the replay button and shouting the lyrics out loud. The album's focus continues with the track “Find the Killer” by Po’It that has a sound that leaves the listener asking, “Who is That!” The Next Hit jets off to Arabia with Nas-Tee in the fantastic "Sultan's Show" track complete with a harem of belly dancers, fire eaters, elephants and tigers. This track has generated a buzz that transcends customary pop and hip-hop boundaries. The Next Hit goes uptown with the high class sound of the track “Night Life” by Nas-Tee. Champagne, double stretch limousines, and Gulfstream Jets set the scene of this sensuous club song. Night Life is followed by the dance club song “Super Star” with a beat designed to make you and the rest of the club move. The Next Hit heads to the influential sounds of Mexico with the up tempo “South of the Border” featuring LaKeith. The lyrics and delivery are all big city, USA and the mix is truly unique. The Next Hit slows down to pay tribute to all those that have fallin’ with the emotional track “I’ll See You My Friends” performed by LaKeith. This song moves you more and more each time you listen to it. The Next Hit concludes with a New Orleans jazzy vibe that celebrates both music and life in the title song “The Next Hit”. Performed by both Nas-Tee and LaKeith, The Next Hit will leave you feelin’ that your in the Big Easy ready to party all night.
