Thanks for learning more about the many projects I've been involved in. Whether you know DJ Lenny K and Albert Levy from Baltimore, MD, White Russian from the University of Miami Hip Hop Club, Tobacco Road, or Titanic, Macalenny the Don Rasta from the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity "House of Fiends" Alpha Omega Chapter , Krypto-Knight from the movie "Bring it On", LK1 from the classic Miami Label X-Clusive Records (Nyasia, Mentally Disturbed), or if you've heard something ridiculous called ZA/10, it's good to see you again. If you are just learning about the above referenced "Microphone Fiend" for the first time, Welcome to Hip-Hop Rush! The personal Hip Hop experience and chronicles of a supreme true "Fiend"! The Rush MC has consistently been on the grind and has become a unique fixture in the 305/MI-Yayo underground hip-hop scene! You may have heard the White Russian's 305 Antehm "305 Whut!" The Rush MC is also well known for his emotional and very touching song "11/11" dedicated to his father, RIP. This song was originally recorded over the beat of the kanye west song "2 Words" because it perfectly captured the emotion that the Rush was feeling while reminiscing and writing the song. This song first appeared on the Mixtape "Come & Get Me" mixed by DJ G Brown. More recently the Rush performed the song at his own wedding in a very rare and meaningful performance. You may have heard the White Russian's 305 Antehm "305 Whut!" if not peep it here: The Rush is also well known for his tear jerking and very touching song "11/11" dedicated to his father, RIP. Here is the song and a few photos of the wedding performance: With strong stage presence, clear delivery, and a raw energy reminiscent of Busta Rhymes, The "Russo Blanco" has shined at many and every live show he's rocked! The Russian also "Blew it up" in the middle of Tobacco Road's 90 year anniversary party during his time there as a Rapper/Waiter with a long song that captured the true spirit of "The Road" and even performed it live right after the headliner jam Band Deep Bananna Black Out. Before the crowd could leave after their set was finished the host said "there's one more performer tonight". So I jumped up on stage before the large crowd left and performed the entire song perfectly completely rocking the house! Also having hosted several open mics and MC battles at Titanic, UM, and Tobacco Road, being on the Mic and in front of a crowd is second nature to the WR! The charismatic and passionate leader and founder of the Univertsity of Miami Hip-Hop Club was the main force in the production of the once large group's official compilation album "The Compound - When the Elements Combine". In 2001, at the time known as White Russian, The Rush dropped the much improved "Tales From The Krypto" over a beat made by producer 1st Class who is know for his work with Track daddy and many others artists as well. 1st class hollered at the Rush through the Hip-Hop Club, they recorded the track at Miami-dade community college where he was studying music engineering at the time. When asked ifhe really believes he can make it big in today's super competitive rap-game, the Rush MC responded "It's not about "if" it's about "when" and it's that confidence mixed with raw talent that will make the Rush MC rise up right before your eyes Whut!
