The Sound of Her Wings is a 5 track EP by Pittsburgh based Doors In The Labyrinth. Blending echoing drum machines and ethereal synths with soaring guitars and whispered voices, Doors In The Labyrinth is the solo project of independent film composer and multi-instrumentalist Josh Loughrey. With references to classic weird fiction/cosmic horror (the lyrics to "Carcosa" come from Robert W Chambers' 1895 masterpiece, The King In Yellow) and existential revelations, The Sound of Her Wings is a heavy musical journey, and a prelude to the full length album Catalyst, due late 2016.
