From the sidewalks of Newark New Jersey to the graduation stage of Temple University, Jamal Gary, aka Jace The Great has returned to the studio for his greatest writing to date. Following the release of his latest mix tape “Who is Jace The Great” which was hosted by Young money’s DJ Scoob Doo and featured the street anthem “Customer” feat. N.O.R.E of CNN, the Newark NJ native has again blessed us with his creative penmanship in his new single titled “Black lives Matter.”

With the Release set for February 16, 2015 President Abraham Lincoln’s Birthday, “Black Lives Matter” is a concept record that embodies the struggles and obstacles of a day and life of a person of color around the world. Inspired by the mistreatment of the Negro in the past and present “Black lives matter” is a record created to mirror the ills of society, which has caused, a conscious dialog to begin among people of color. “Black lives matter” is a reflection of what the street life and college life has made of Jace The Great. The narrative is an example of an artist showing his maturity, passion, and lyrical skills. With an untitled album in the making, one can expect Jace The Great to deliver another classic with heavy emphasis on societal issues.
