This 2001 tribute compilation to Calypso legend Lord Kitchener focuses on his contributions to steel drum music. Kitchener is not only a pioneer in calypso music, who has won the Road March title 10 times . He has as well been identified as one of the greatest composers for steel band tunes: 18 of his compositions gained the title in panorama steeldrum orchestra competition, more than from any other songwriter. This compilation assembles various calypsonians which are famous for dealing with pan, for example Denyse Plummer and Defosto.
