This CD is a charity CD dedicated to Dan Drotar, a Detroit based retired autoworker, musician, and photographer, who was well-liked and known by many Detroit celebrities and bands. During his 55 years of life Dan photographed many bands, and celebrities who liked and trusted him. He was talented guy with a keen wit, and funny sense of humor. After revealing that he was suffering from Cancer, many of Dan's friends and family organized a living tribute to him at the Pier 500 Club in Wyandotte Michigan on November 22, 2009. The gala event featured many well known Detroit acts who performed from morning until night. Proceeds from the event went to Cancer research, with much money being raised. At the end of the night, Dan picked up the bar tab for the whole bar! A little over a year later, on November 28, 2010, Dan succumbed to the disease leaving behind an incredible legacy. In 2011 Dan's cousin, Jeff Lehman decided to organize a charity CD in his honor. After getting busy with other items, the project was shelved. In January 2015, Jeff re-ginited the project and began contacting many acts about contributing a song for the project. Most had said "yes" with their tracks on this CD. The cd features Steve Acho, Adrenalin, Stewart Francke with Thornetta Davis, the late Andrew Gold, Remy Lambert, Jeff Lehman's City Lights, Charles Davis (The Contours), Eric Mackey, Population 3, the late Elvis Shelton, Skeleton Crew, The Shy, and Craig Williams.
