Flood The Stone (FTS) is a pop-rock group based currently in Yorkton, Sk, which formed in the summer of 2011. Members Tim Hay (guitar), Adam Breitkreuz (drums), and Roger Angove (bass), immediately began writing material for their debut album. All is Not Lost was released spring of 2013 and received 3 GMA Covenant Award nominations, including one win for their work. Since the release they have toured extensively across Western Canada, from B.C. to Ontario, and into the Northwestern United States. The end of 2014 saw exciting new change when Steven Fazakerley joined the band as lead vocalist. Bringing years of front man experience with him, Steven adds a whole new dynamic to FTS. The end of 2014 also brought the beginning of a new album. The guys traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska to work with producer Philip Zach at his studio, The Grid. There is much anticipation as the album will be released in the spring of 2015. Live performance is an essential part of FTS and with it comes high energy and passion that is rooted deep in their faith. FTS’ sound begins with tight rhythms and beats that drive the music forward, layered with soaring melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. Their hook-laced songs can truly engage a broad range of listeners. It’s been a whirlwind existence for FTS and they are driven to continuously push boundaries creatively and sonically with their music, while providing a message that can speak to everyone. When the world is on fire around you, there is still and always will be, hope.
