A1ras wrote the song Hurricane Sandy a few days after the super storm. This song described how A1ras prepared for the storm and the destruction that follow once Hurricane Sandy came ashore the Island of Jamaica, Cuba and the Eastern United States. This song is very lyrical and factual. Not much artist can depict and event the way A1ras depicted hurricane sandy. A1ras described his frantic search for a generator to make sure his family had light in case the power went out. He went on to describe the affect on mass transit and Sandy's assault on the Shorelines, infrastructure and human casualties. The Track also describe how Sandy play a causal role in the US presidential campaign.
