Dustin White and the Jeff Jones Trio have been performing enticing music for several years. The ensemble recalls classic American jazz and has been influenced by such greats as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and songwriters such as; George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Jerome Kern. With White's sultry voice and Jones' lyrical songwriting and music direction, the group has definitely created a fresh and new original sound. Dustin White and the Jeff Jones Trio was voted best jazz group in 2000, at the Reader's Choice Awards held by the Press Telegram in Long Beach, California. Most recently, their song, "I Can't Dance Without You" was an award winner at the 2002 John Lennon International Songwriting Contest. Their music has also been featured in several independent films, as well as the PBS television series, CD Highway. The new album of all originals songs is entitled, "Love's Never Been So Nice," and echoes feelings of love, romance, and passion, at the same time it weaves class, elegance and style into the music and lyrics. The music arrangements also sparkle in both interest and variety, as they take you through poetic lyricism and unforgettable melodies.
