Reggae Artist Jimmy Beats was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and raised in Orlando, Fl. Jimmy began playing guitar at the age of 13. Since most of his friends played musical instruments, it was only natural that they formed a garage band. By the time they reached high school they played parties, skating rinks and dance clubs. The friends learned a lot during those formative years, but eventually life happened. The band broke up and though they still remain friends, they all went their separate ways. Some of those guys played with big name groups, while others became very successful producers. Jimmy Beats "Dark Beats Music" launched in 2004 successfully producing Dancehall, Reggae and Hip Hop music for a lengthy period of time. Tracks were licensed to MTV networks (with Punk'D, Making The Video, Making The Movie as well as other special programming). Jimmy plays guitar, keyboards and bass as well as producing and engineering. Presently stepping out, from behind the console, to perform live and record his debut album which has been a passion that Jimmy has longed to undertake for more years than he cares to discuss. Jimmy is grateful to be in a position where he can now pursue this musical endeavor. Jimmy has been quoted in the press as stating "Over the years, many musicians have influenced me, none so much as Bob Marley. His music not only transcends racial and social boundaries, but also draws you down a path that enlightens the soul." Jimmy is excited on the release of "Please Stay" and working with his favorite Artist Royal Mosiah.

They are currently collaborating on other tracks as well as being in the planning stages of touring together.
