my poetry is a reflection of life and it's happenings, thoughtful words is in that vein, often times in life we travel through it without reflection sometimes of our formulative years until later in life we realize this is who i'am and what i have been through. in my pieces i try to capture the essence of life for we are all alike on some levels that is what make's poetry so compelling when a piece is written and the person next to you can relate to the poem without one knowing that person the poetry did it's job. giving voice to life in general with poetry is unique unto itself for it is not a few words of a song but words with a beginning middle and end that speaks to an issue to bring clarity, understanding, connection and comfort, poetry can be all of these things right on time when one need poetry to speak to them
