This is Chrystal with some details for you about the song, "Emily's Lost Love." It was made by musicians who are connected by a passion for music-making, but who are separated by oceans, continents and timezones. Raf Fiol provided a web-venue so that we can play together to give the feeling that we are in the same room at the same time. The original piano improvisation to "Emily's Lost Love" was recorded in Denmark by composer Niels Sorensen; the viola was added by Antonio Leofreddi in Italy; and I wrote and recorded the vocals in California in the U.S. Dan Grubbs, in Texas, then blended these sounds (like a painter with colors on canvas) to form the composition you are hearing today. We four have never met, yet together we've managed to create something that we're very proud of and which would have been impossible to accomplish just ten years ago and without the ingenuity and philanthropy of Mr. Fiol. "Emily's Lost Love" will be the second cut from the upcoming album entitled, "You Are The Rain," which is scheduled to be released August 2013. It features the works of Nicola Offidani (Italy) and Niels Sorensen. The artists you've heard in "Emily's Lost Love" will be featured again on the album as well as several of the artists from across the globe that I've been privileged to work with.
