ELYXR is a brand new collaborative-band concocting modern synthpop potions. Spearheaded by Seattle-based electronic music songwriter/producer Kasson Crooker (Symbion Project, Freezepop, Rocococo), ELYXR is releasing a string of singles this summer, each a collaboration with a different singer/songwriter. The 2nd single “Godspeed” was co-written with Naoko Takamoto of the band Princess Problems and features Naoko’s distinct, candid vocal delivery. Kasson met Naoko at Harmonix in Boston where they both made music videogames for 10 years including the dance games Dance Central 1 & 2. "Godspeed" was written late last year just before the election of Trump and is about how we’ll need to watch all of our collective backs. Godspeed America, Godspeed.
