“CBeezy is in the house” and that is the shot heard round the world or at least around the state of Ohio and not a moment too soon. Columbus rapper and cleveland native Chuck Brown aka “CBeezy” has a new project on the forefront on his new label Oxford Records and he is ready to branch out and take the world by storm. CBeezy has been a rapper under the radar for some time now and has put numerous mix cd’s and compilation albums together but this one he is overly excited about. His style which is a mixture of old school rap with a new school swing has garnered quite a buzz since it’s release. CBeezy is a long time friend of Sean Levert of the group “Levert” who, along with the world mourns the recent loss of one of r&b’s greatest crooners, Gerald Levert who recently passed away. He was in the process of collaborating with Gerald on his daughters album at his passing but CBeezy is definitely moving on through the tragic death of his friend and putting out his compilation cd in loving memory of Gerald, “he was a good friend and a great mentor” says CBeezy and…… “I’ll miss him”. CBeezy mixes the talent of production, he produces his own music, writing….. he writes his own lyrics and rapping to make for a very potent mixture of excellence which he is now ready to share with the general public. “I been on the grind for a while”, says Beezy but it’s finally paying off for me and my company. CBeezy was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and came up in the rap game since his youth he has spent most of his adult life in columbus however running his own bail bond business with his father. “rap is where my heart is” says CBeezy, “bail bonds is just how I pay the bills” well judging from the many talents displayed on his compilation cd he has a bright future in the rap industry and we will all be witness to his greatness.
