Australian dance act StrictLove presents The Hammond Version Excursion EP - a special love letter to fans of the classic 80's and 90's sounds of PWL and the Euro/Pop genres. This EP features several previously unreleased remixes by Pete Hammond - including a brand new "Pete Hammond vs StrictLove Sampadelic Dub" - a homage to early UK 90's house featuring classic samples galore. The EP features StrictLove's two singles "Risin' Up" and the recently released "Ain't No Man". Trainspotters & fans of PWL and the genre will no doubt recognise the EP title is a tribute to the hugely popular Pete Hammond remix of Bananarama's "I Can't Help It".

StrictLove (aka producers Andy Evans & Luke Nutley) have collectively been involved in the Australian music scene as musicians, producers, remixers, artist managers, A&R, publicity, marketing & general all-rounders for many years. They formed StrictLove with the intent on producing top end dance/pop with no restrictions on genre or style. Guest vocalist Zan was one of the lead singers in pioneering 80?s Australian pop/dance band ?I?m Talking? who enjoyed a string of hits including the Top 5 classic ?Holy Word?. Zan has also performed alongside the likes of U2, B.B. King & a host of both local and international talent; released a solo album in Europe and has gigged regularly at the Jazz Cafe in London alongside the likes of Brand New Heavies.
