Having lived in different countries such as Hawaii, Philippines, and Japan, Maiken has been exposed to a wide variety of music, but gospel has played the biggest influence in her life. Her faith is recognised through her songs in the upbeat "One Man" and the uplifting "Watch the Rain".

The title song "Crazy" is not about the typical definition of crazy, rather it's about people who go against the norm, who choose not to follow the crowd. We may seem crazy from the outside but that's just us.
