简介
Laura Tate Laura Tate began singing in Dallas as a little girl and she’s never stopped. From acting in repertory company musicals across the country to settling in New York to perform in clubs and theaters … from living in Nashville in the country music scene to garnering stage, television, and film credits in Los Angeles and touring with the Laura Tate Band, she has kept singing through it all. Today, Laura Tate lives in Texas, where she has produced music videos for groups such as the Bellamy Brothers, the Nashville Bluegrass Band, and an award-winning documentary, “Held in Trust.” She has recently released “Songs from My Suitcase,” a collection of vintage standards from the Great American Songbook. In “Blue Train,” she debuts country songs, written by her good friend, prolific composer and talented performer Melvin Earl Harker, III and others. Blue Train Whoever you are, wherever you may be, when you hear that lonesome whistle blow, know that somewhere a heart is breaking as that train takes a lover away, further and further from home. In “Blue Train,” Laura Tate takes us to that station, as the first stop on a journey of looking for love, falling in love -- and then candlelight dinners for one before heading back home for a new start. It’s a trip that speaks to everyone, in the universal language of love.
