F. Lee Rock’s music is heavily influenced by the seminal folk/pop/rock groups of the 1960’s (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Byrds, Doors, Van Morrison), and he continues to find common ground with the music of the decades since then. Diverse artists such as Talking Heads, Bruce Springsteen , Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bare Naked Ladies, Bruce Cockburn,, Prince, Iron and Wine, Alexi Murdoch, Grateful Dead, and many of today’s Alt Rock and Folk music continue to inspire him. F. Lee‘s lyrics are particularly driven by the changes and passages of life on a deep heart level.
