That was the 70's and there was all kinds of great music kicking around. David's biggest influence is probably all the Motown stuff, but he loves both punk, experimental and industrial sounds. He started out recording on cheap cassette decks and moved on to the Tascam 4-track, and eventually the DAW. His music is kind of an abstract journal of life. Sometimes it's very direct and other times it's an amalgamation of experiences and feelings.
