Growing up listening to gospel music led Lorianna to believe there was something special about the power of music. At a very young age she realized that it would become apart of her destiny. As a child Lorianna performed at various church events, talent shows, school performances and conventions- one thing was constant- she walked onto the stage unknown to most of her audience and stepped off of the stage recognized by the crowd as, "the girl who can sing". At age 13 years old Lorianna opened for the 1990's hit gospel group Commissioned. Although she has always envisioned music as part of her destiny, it wasn’t until after she’d earned a B.A in psychology from San Jose State University that she began recording. In early 2007 she managed to catch the ear of artist and producer Prince Damons (who has produced tracks for artists such as Pink and Dwele) and completed her first song "You Can Fly" with him later that year. Since 2007, Lorianna released JSYK (Just So You Know) in 2011 and "Merry Christmas" in 2013. Originality is important to Lorianna, writing God-inspired songs of love and life that have an organic quality to them -skipping the fluffy commercial sound and instead opting for more flavorful lyrics. That much-needed relief from bubble gum pop is evident in her voice. Most recently Lorianna has sang backup for several up and coming Bay Area artists at the world renowned Yoshi's Jazz Club, San Francisco, Calif. A frequent guest artist to So Timeless, she has proven she can hold her own alongside noted artists and has become a crowd favorite in her own right. Today Lorianna serves as the director of music to the fifty plus recording choir where she first showcased her musical abilities. Under her leadership the choir has become one of San Jose's premier singing ensembles, headlining the city's annual Church In The Park celebration. She also heads the praise and worship team and is responsible for the arrangement, production and execution of all things music at the church she attends. The stage, her home; the mic, her door- and in the same fashion that she leads praise and worship, you are ushered in by the essence of her voice. After one list
