I was raised is a small Southern California town, when Southern California had small towns. I grew up with the same kids all through high school. The first time I heard one of them play surf music with an electric guitar in the high school gym, I was fascinated. I started writing my own songs with the Beatles, Byrds and Stones for guides. Then came the Hendrix, Zeppelin and Clapton influences. The result is this album. -John Bacon-
