The Shameless Pursuit (TSP) took a break from their live performances to put as much energy as possible into their debut EP, "Fail it Forward", and it is paying off. Released in October of 2015, "Fail it Forward" is a collection of tunes lyrically addressing the idea indicated in its title, holding steady in the face of seemingly imminent failure. Warm and melodic, electric driven and moody, soft and intimate. These are all valid descriptions of this EP, which ranges from a punchy opening track that will get you on your feet (called "The Opener") to a quiet and heart-felt final track with lyrics that will move you (called "Sing Louder to Me"), and everything between. This album takes you on a journey. And it should. This group labored to tell a story with this album. "It's really an autobiography," says frontman Jeffrey Means. "We have all been, or are currently in that spot where you are faced with the choice. Courage or comfort? And what if courage means you will absolutely not succeed? You can only hope your failure has purpose, paying it forward so you or someone else can benefit."
