"The Repetition" was written between Australia and Europe over the space of a year. It is a study of love, cycles and distance.

Tom's first album, "Presque Vu" was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize while Tom was living in Europe. He flew back and got together with some musicians to record "The Repetition".

It was recorded in one week with the help of Stu Barry, Jamie Trevaskis, Corinna Scanlon and Nik Mayer-Miller. Other artists who have contributed to this album include McKisko, Laura Jean, Jen Sholakis, Adrian Mauro and Dan Mansfield.
