Recorded at age 15, Amanda Morgan's breakout EP, "Land of an Endless Sea," notched two # 1 slots on Detroit radio WDVDfm's "The Radio Cafe." Both tracks, "Ten Steps Back" and "Just Wanna Know Why" became "Most Requested Song in the State" in 2010 and 2011. Morgan was the youngest artist to achieve those accolades. The EP was produced by Grammy winner, Fran Cathcart and Sean Burns, recorded at the prestigious East Side Sound studios in NYC, and mastered by Chris Gheringer at Sterling Sound. In addition to winning the "Best Young Pop Artist" Award in 2012 at the Indie Music Channel awards, Morgan has received rave reviews from fans and music industry professionals alike. Here are a few: "When I first heard about Amanda Morgan I was excited about this new young singer songwriter. When I finally heard her sing, my excitement turned to admiration and esteem. Amanda is the real thing! I've always thought songwriting and performing were the most important elements in the evolution of a popular musical artist. To find both of these things, plus an amazing voice, in an artist so young...well, this is what we’re always hunting for.” -Patrick Simmons, The Doobie Brothers "For one so young, she has mastered the ability to put genuine feelings surrounding relationships into words with impressive eloquence." -Brett Callwood (City Slang, Detroit Metro Times Magazine) "It's more than talent, it's magic. When Detroit's gifted teen singer songwriter, Amanda Morgan, renders her unique, vibrant, upbeat edgy optimism and poetic angst, she speaks a timeless language that touches the heart and soul of young and old. Amanda is a Category-One Pop sensation." -Robert Camacho (RC Management, Nashville, TN) Morgan has appeared live on Fox TV, at Michigan’s largest music festival, “Arts, Beats & Eats” and been featured in numerous online and print articles. Her music has been heard worldwide on terrestrial commercial, public and internet radio. Amanda Morgan continues to write and perform along with maintaining serious academic studies. In 2012 she was accepted into the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University where she pursues her Business Law degree as an extension of her music career.
