Tarik is the fifth and youngest child of a Turkish family that migrated to Germany in 1969 in the hope to find a better life. He discovered music rather early in his life and gained his first stage expierences at the tender age of five singing traditional songs at Turkish weddings. Growing up in the 80s Tarik was influenced by amazing artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, George Michael and the young Whitney Houston. During his highschool years he was the lead singer of different local bands and was exposed to a number of musical genres. With the years passing by, Tarik developed his love for modern R'nB and Soul music. That was the time Boyz II Men.
