Andrew D. Wood (born July 18, 1991), better known by the stage name D-Woodz, is an American rapper and songwriter. He released his debut mixtape, The Whiteout, in 2011. In early 2012, he released his hit single, "That Bomb Baby" via a double featured Youtube video. D-Woodz followed "That Bomb Baby" with the release of his next single entitled, "In Due Time", which he performed at the Coast 2 Coast Industry Mixer, in Seattle Washington. He then released the three part "Coast 2 Coast Documentary" on Yotube, entailing his performance and personal view from the trip. In the summer of 2012, D-Woodz wrote, recorded, and performed the single "Finished" featuring Hype Coleman, at the Annual Merced Custom Auto Show for Lowrider Magazine, in a promotional effort for Finished Clothing Line. D-Woodz signed with TeamNework Music in late 2012, and release his second mixtape, L.P.R Vol. 1 | California Livin', on Janurary 3, 2013, for free download via Datpiff.com. The mixtape included the hit singles, "Work" produced by Draft, and "The Team" by TeamNetwork which both received radio airplay by Fresno's hip hop station B95. On Janurary 9, 2014, D-Woodz released the music video for his latest single; as well as annoucing it as the title of his next mixtape, "#WBW" (White Boy Wasted). On Feburary 14, 2014, he was featured on the single "Order What You Want", by TeamNetwork. In preparation for the release of his next mixtape, #WBW, D-Woodz, in association with TeamNetwork, has opened for YG and Nipsey Hussle, The Jacka, Durrough, and J-Stalin; performing his newly released singles from #WBW, "Gin and Juice" featuring Jerm Carter, and "Look Back At It". Although an official release date for the #WBW mixtape has not been confirmed, it is rumored to drop in the month of June of 2014. Early Life D-Woodz was born Andrew Dylan Wood in Merced, California on July 18, 1991. At a young age he began writing lyrics on legal pads and storing them in his dresser instead of his own clothes. Introduced to 2 Pac, Eminem, and 50 Cent by his older brother, his musical influences and hip hop aspirations were derived.
