Charlie C is Playpat & Kings seconds single. The track expresses a musical homage to a comic legend. The Original Mix is created to make it easy for a DJ to mix. The Radio Edit is a shorter version and starts off with a mysterious filtered multiband, the basic double layered kick joins in. The kick is supported with a layered bass line and sub bass to create a warm and deep sound. After a short break where some darker pads warn you for whats coming, the comical sounding dark synth expresses the figures funny walk. The synths are variations on one theme to express various amusing adventures. Simple percussion with a tick and some snaps are the leading force on both tracks. The tracks evolve into a funny chase when the arpeggiated synth, warm flangered pad and gated sounds kick in. Creating a versatile relaxed, humoristic and danceable sound.
