Maritza grew up in Ecuador, South America where her family still resides. She has been singing since the age of five and has been part of 3 musical groups: Percusion Latina, Los Pajaros Rojos and Banda Dorada. Then she decided to go on with her musical career as a soloist. After moving to the United States, she has dedicated most of her musical talent to the church by singing as a soloist and by directing both adult and bilingual children’s choirs. Currently she lives in the United States and she has just released her first album with completely original music and lyrics. The debut album is available for purchase both in retail establishments and on the Internet. Maritza is a fan of music of any style but has musical background in the Latin American genre. With time, she may introduce more music with slight country undertones and more lyrics in English.
