简介
Andrei Antonets, a native of Riga and eternal ranger, also known as Andrei Oid, is a musician, producer and half of the Alexandroid duet, who has deserved rapt references fr om Laurent Garnier. He is well known for those who remember music of 90′s and the beginning of 00′s, when it seemed to appear the new wave of Russian intellectual electronic musicians, which would join to the world spread channels for cultural information. The wide music community has known about Andrei thanks to KETA project, wh ere Antonets met with Ilya Lagutenko and they recorded album Derzosti, which has got lots of reviews in music communities and blogs. Though this fact doesnt prevent Andreis solo creation: he keeps on to release tracks as Andrei Oid on those labels as Fullpanda, Traum, Arma, Loeb, Musiccollective, Sleep is Commercial and to make great remixes for those labels artists as Electronica Records, How2Make, Lo Recordings and PNN. It should be noted one more Andreis project iD10TS [IDIOTS], experimental Russian electronic project, consist of Andrei Antonets, Pavel Kamakin and Ilya Shapovalov. The style of iD10TS has Its own music world with psychedelic guitars, electronic rhythms and unusual vocal, in opinion of European press it calls up associations with Brian Eno and Talking Heads. The original track was noticed by one of the most famous techno-producers DJ Koze, resident of Bar25 from Berlin Pablo Beaner and a great amount of producers from all over the world, therefore some of this remixes are included in the first official release from ID10TS. And now we are glad to introduce a new EP from Andrei Oid Zasulakus, that includes two retrospective tracks made about 10 years ago in Riga and Moscow. Names of tracks are names of the station and the region in Riga, where Id spent a part of my childhood. It takes about 15 minutes from our house in Āgenskalna priedes region to the railway station Zasulauks, also known as Zas among teens. There was a train from the Zasulakus station to Jurmala. Twenty minutes after the train brought us to the sea, Lunapark Dzintari and the lemon ice-cream. tells Andrei Antonets. Martinish Strautnieks (aka Gonzo), Andreis old friend , musician and composer from Riga, based in London , who took part in the recording for KETA, also participated in recording of title track of the Zasulakus. We are only can describe this release with one sentence There is all the homesickness and love to painfully dear native places, that everybody has.
