Acetre专辑介绍： Formed in 1976, Acetre concentrates on two musical fronts: enhancing traditional music and composing new works with deep traditional roots. They see their music "an heridatary language to which we contribute a particular semantic." They get their inspiration from the oral traditions of Extremadura and then adapt them, infusing old songs and forgotten tunes with a new feelings and emotions. This is decidedly contemporary music, at times modern and lush, interesting and beautiful. The come from Olivenza, Badajoz - historically and geographically linked to Portugal and a culture which has lingered for centuries under the shadow of the Iberian frontier. You can hear Extremaduran perantones, rondas, tonadas festivas, pindongos or alboradas as well as Portuguese verdegaios, fados, corridi�os, etc in their music, building a virtual bridge between Extremadura and Portugal.
