Arbor, formed in 2015 by original members Max Papworth (Guitar, 16), Tanner Brzygot (Bass, 16), and Noah Dockery (Originally Drums and backup vocals, 16) started as a cover band in Union Kentucky Originally named "Written In Red". Meeting former Singer Calvin Freeman at a festival, the band played local venues such as Bogarts, Thompson House, and The Madison Theater in Cincinnati Ohio. They released their first single "If Thats Alright with You" in January 2016. From there they worked on their first 6 Track EP "Monophobia" with Mathew A. Wheatley and released it on October 1st 2016. Only a few days after the Band's EP release Calvin Freeman departed and the band started back at square one. Eventually meeting Drummer Bryan Gautraud (17), and moving Noah to Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, the band started playing out once again and has since been producing new music. Relicta being the first Arbor single to be self produced by the band and the first to feature Noah on lead vocals. The band takes more of a fresh, new metal taste with melodic vocals and screams along with heavy yet melodic riffs. After Complications with a different band under the same name Arbor decided to change their original name of written in red to Arbor to represent Growth in the band. Known for stage presence and an over all different sound, Arbor continues to pursue their dreams of playing on stages in front of people and over all having a blast and sharing their passions.
