XPIRIMINT was my choice name after much thinking. I wanted a name that gave me freedom to do whatever I wanted in the realm of music. So I played with the word "experiment" and my current name was the result. Some tracks will be on the rock and or funk side, incorporating lots of guitar and bass as well as other live instruments. Others will be on the electronic side with sounds that will remind you of classic video games as well as EDM genres such as dubstep and house or electro. It is most likely, though, that most songs will be a hybrid of both. Keep an ear open for the live instruments! My goal with XPIRIMINT was to try new things and challenge myself with every song I started. My method really varied, but I would generally get lost in a new idea and float around in my own head and wander this world I was creating. Many of those experiments never saw the light of day, however, a few did and these are the ones that made it to this album. What you will find on here is the best of my experiments. The ones that made it all the way through the crazy adventure each one of them was. Every one of these tracks takes me on a trip somewhere. They tell a story and it all starts with a "Lucid Dream" which is appropriately chosen as the first track (after the introduction). They are all very different and I can understand it's unusual to have such a variety of genre on one album. But I think if you are the type that likes "all kinds of music" you will sincerely enjoy what is on here. I sure hope that's the case!
