This album is inspired by progressive poetry by the contemporary Persian poetess, Forough Farrokhzadd. Forough's poems are considered as pioneering bold feminine sensual, depicting deep human feelings and senses in simple, every day words. It is in clear contrast with Persian classic poetry, which should be "interpreted" before being well understood. She is among the pioneers that brought poems into streets, into songs and every day life of ordinary people, not just the elite.

Amir and Behrang have been doing music together, both in composing and performing in Tehran, Iran for a long time. How ever, as pop music and contemporary poetry is not well accepted by some authorities, this album never enjoyed an official release in Iran. Now living in Canada, Behrang is releasing this long awaited album to a worldwide audience.
