Dave Morrison sings with passion about life's rich experiences and challenges, tragic and joyous. He has the knack of capturing the essence of strong emotion and connecting this with the listener through his moving ballads and quirky, captivating music and voice.

Originally from Edinburgh, Dave has lived in the beautiful Orkney Islands for the last ten years and drawn inspiration from his stunning surroundings and the people he has met there. His songs have hints of jazz, blues, country, folk and world music. Each song is a unique slice of life.

Joining him on his debut EP is Gillian Morrison on double bass, Gemma McGregor on flute, Andy Brown on keyboard, djembe and cajón, Steph Wauchope on snare drum and Phil Anderson on bass guitar. Coffee Cups was recorded at Storm Sound Studio's in Orkney by Phil Anderson.
