The late Geri Grayson was classically trained and actually auditioned at the Metropolitan Opera House but she had a little competition with Jessye Norman. She sang for years in Off Broadway in New York and later in Honolulu, and San Francisco (where previously she was a Merola winner). Greg Blunt has played with the classic jazz masters in Honolulu and in San Francisco. He also teaches English as a Second Language in Santa Rosa California.
