Theoretics, which is now at its core is a group of five instrumentalists, is excited to announce a series of monthly single releases featuring collaborations with some of the bands favorite vocalists and emcees, dubbed "one a month." The first, dropping in July is Funk Break ft. Moe Betta, a Seattle emcee known for his old school party vibe and delivery. Though the track may sound like a sample from a James Brown recording, everything was grabbed from various members of Theoretics in different contexts and pasted together to get an old funk break sound. Keep an eye out for future month's releases featuring artists like Grynch, Afrok and Shelton Harris.
