Keen And Onward Zeal describes the personality that embodies this young Unsigned Urban Rap Artist , also known in short as “KAOZ”. The name was originated from his character of being highly intelligent and enthusiastically devoted to his goals and passion in life. His tireless diligence is heard in his voice when he speaks. He brings the pure self-expressive lyrical content back into the rap game. Through his music he strives to reintroduce the true meaning of Hip-Hop with real substance and encompass more than the average catchy hook and one liner singles. The style that KAOZ produces can be described as exciting, upbeat and most times vividly illustrating of the struggles of life or otherwise. KAOZ is taking the stage and setting his debut of his first Album (POWER MOVE). His dynamic talent at a fresh age of 18 yrs old, is obvious that he possess a strong desire and determination to succeed.

KAOZ was born as Tajee James, the third oldest of 9 kids growing up in the tough streets of Long Island (Strong Island), NY. Growing up in such a large household, at times he felt he wasn’t afforded the attention he deserved or needed. He soon became rebellious, criminal minded and arrested several times as a juvenile which forced him complete out of his household to fend for himself. So he built his new family in the streets where money, power and respect was his fuel. The life of crime and drugs, seeking immediate respect and attention from his peers was the beginning and the end of his enlightenment. The life of violence, drugs and crime came to a halt when he discovered himself alone in jail for the last time with none of his “friends” around. And he suddenly owned up to his actions and took responsibility for his mistake and immature ways. Realizing that the road he was taking was leading him into a redundant circle of the same things that got him nowhere; he promised himself that he would become a Man. A POWER MOVE was necessary for a positive change. KAOZ no longer felt as powerful just fitting in with the crowd and being a good follower, he knew he had potential to be a leader and control his own life. He often felt discouraged and as a failure in the eye of his family because of his past but was determined to someday regain his respect where it mattered the most.

Despite his shortfalls KAOZ managed to graduate early at 16yrs old with his degree, and carried out the rest of his sentence for his criminal acts. But he still was in search for his POWER MOVE and had not decided what it would be. He then began to test his endurance in a trade school but the hustle for money, food and transportation became overbearing and he couldn’t make it back and forth to school. Even though he maintained a 3.8 GPA, the unfortunate struggles of being on his own with limited support forcing him to quit.

KAOZ decided to move to Utah totally separating himself from his normal environment where it seemed hard to get ahead. From the moment he arrive he began compiling his thoughts and reflecting on his life. His culture shock of living in New York and abruptly moving to Utah manifested the phenomenal skill he always possessed of rapping. And from there, the ultimate POWER MOVE began. He link up with a Manager from Jaunty 1 Entertainment and together, they continue to bring him to the top and nourish the seed of a fresh Artist and soon to be legend!!!
