简介
This album represents a compilation of late-night, marathon recording sessions in dorm rooms, stairwells (good acoustics), and studio apartments. Because of an irrational commitment to my old Tascam Portastudio, the quality on all tracks is full of all the popping and hissing of olde-timey, 4-track analog cassette tape recording. To anyone born after 1985, it will likely be indistinguishable from Alexander Graham Bell's first phone call... Nonetheless, I hope that it brings some small amount of nostalgia to the folks who heard me play at UCLA or as the "KROQ Balladeer" in LA, or the Philly folks, from SHHS to grad school, who provided parties with captive audiences for me to entertain. Special thanks to John Hurst for slide guitar on Family Values (Down by the Bayou) and for Mike Comstock's invaluable knowledge of all things musical and electronic. Most of all thanks to YOU, for listening and donating money to the cause. All proceeds from this album will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
